Little Caesars Arena has only been open for over just a year and they are already making major renovations. It has been no secret that the attendance for Red Wings and Pistons home games have not been great even though they are playing in a great new arena. The Pistons quickly made a change to add black seat covers for the center court seating areas that are most visble to the viewers on tv, so it looks like there is more people there. While, that can somewhat make an effect, they obvioulsy couldn't keep doing that each season as that is just a horrible look for the arena and team itself. Maybe once the teams actually perform better and are ready to contend on a conistent basis, then we won't have to worry about the attendance for each home game the two teams play.
