Police chase! Richmond, Virginia is making headlines this morning after a military vehicle police chase. According to a Facebook friend, this was NOT a tank, but M-577 Armored Command Post Carrier. A man stole the truck and later surrendered to Virginia State Troopers in downtown Richmond.
Here's a clip of the armored vehicle barreling down Broad Street.
*UPDATE* Police have identified the man as 29 year old Joshua Philip Yabut, a member of the Virginia National Guard. He's been charged with DUI, felony eluding, and a felony count of unauthorized use of a vehicle.
