The first round of the NFL Draft is happening tonight and the Detroit Lions will be selecting 20th overall if they do not ultimately trade away the pick for more future picks in the later rounds. There has been some different players that the "experts" think the Lions may choose with the 20th pick and here are some the names down below:
Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
Marcus Davenport, DE, UTSA
Taven Bryant, DT, Florida
Vita Vea, DT, Washington
Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College
Da'Ron Payne, DT, Alabama
Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama
James Daniels, C, Iowa
Joshua Jackson, CB, Iowa
You might have a hard time thinking guys like Landry and Evans will fall that far down to the Lions with the 20th pick. However, stranger things have took place in numerous of drafts with top talent guys falling on the board due to many different reasons that can really have you scratching your head asking why? There has been some reports saying that as many as four quarterback's could be taken in the first round, which would just cause some of these guys to fall tremendoulsy. If something of that nature takes place in the first round tonight, then be on the lookout for the Lions to possibly get a steal with the 20th pick and to ultimatley not trade it for multiple picks later on in the draft. A possible trade partner with the Lions could be the Patriots (act's surprised) as it has been reported they really like quarterback Lamar Jackson and might be looking to move up to get him.
With the 20th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft... the Detroit Lions select: Marcus Davenport, DE, UTSA.
That's just my prediction. What is yours?
