Will Matt Patrica Be The Right Guy For The Lions?

The Detroit Lions introduced the 27th head coach in franchise history, Matt Patricia. He will be expected to help lead this team to a new level of playing and competitiveness each and every game they play. Lions general manager, Bob Quinn is putting a lot of trust and faith into a guy he worked with in New England as the director of pro scouting, before being hired as the Lions general manager two years ago. Patricia's knowledge and experience with the Patriots defense should bring great influence and expertise to help improve which once was a top notch Lions defense a few seasons ago. He will be leaning on Matthew Stafford to lead the offense that desperately needs a solidified running game to help lay off some pressure on Stafford if they wan't any chance on making the playoffs more consistently in this new regime. With that being said, I wish you the best of luck Matt Patricia, and let's give this city a football team that will be special to watch under your direction.
